ADHD
Focus, restlessness, and a mind that will not stay put
Attention, organization, and impulsivity in adults, including people who were never diagnosed as children.

What we might talk about
What it can feel like
Adult ADHD can look like unfinished work, lost time, or a lifetime of being called lazy when the issue is attention. It often travels with anxiety, depression, or sleep problems.
How I work with it
I take a full history. Medication can help many adults. It is not the whole story. We also look at sleep, substances, and mood. I will not treat ADHD as a 10-minute stimulant refill. If care includes a controlled medication, an in-person visit in Pasadena is required.
The first stretch
We clarify whether attention is the core problem or a symptom of something else.
A bit more
Plenty of adults were never diagnosed as kids, especially if they were smart enough to compensate. We still take time to sort attention from anxiety, depression, or sleep debt, because the wrong stimulant plan helps no one.
